The Linn County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI are reporting a shots fired report north of Center Point on Friday evening.
According to a media release, at roughly 4:20 p.m. a group of children were playing near the intersection of North Center Point and Fee Roads.
Then a silver 4 door pick-up truck (possibly a Ford) was driving nearby, occupied by at least two males, according to the release. A white male in the truck fired a shot from the vehicle in “the vicinity of the children playing” and then sped off.
No one was injured in the incident. Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
The FBI is asking for anyone that may have information about this incident, or video of this area during this time frame. to call the FBI at 402-493-8688.
